Medical
Quality medical plans are offered to help protect you and your family from the burden of paying high medical costs. All of the medical options provide coverage for routine and medically necessary care, so you have the comprehensive coverage you need to stay healthy. Some of the medical plan options, based on location are: a point of service plan, a preferred provider option plan, an indemnity plan and a Health Savings Account (HSA). Prescription drug services are automatically provided in conjunction with medical benefits.
Dental
Dental plans are offered to help you pay for a variety of dental services. Depending upon the dental plan, covered services may include: routine examinations, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings, inlays, extractions, periodontal treatments, bridges, crowns, dentures and orthodontia.
Disability Insurance
Derco offers three disability benefits-sick pay, short term disability and long term disability-which provide you an income if you become disabled while employed by the company. These benefits are designed to work together to provide income and relieve some of the worry about how you will support yourself or your family if you are unable to work because of illness or injury.
Reimbursement Accounts
Health care and dependent day care reimbursement accounts are offered as a convenient way to pay for certain health and dependent care expenses that aren't completely covered by medical or dental plans and to save on taxes at the same time. When you direct part of your before-tax salary to a reimbursement account, you lower your taxable income for the year. This means you pay fewer taxes and have more take home pay.
