Making an award to Derco is easy. Derco’s vast inventory of aircraft parts oftentimes allows for same day shipment of needed spares and Derco’s DLA-issued Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), SP0400-06-G-0005 and SPM400-06-G-0005 allows ordering of spare parts or logistics services without any delay.
The BOA allows all Contracting Officers within the Department of Defense to issue delivery orders under it.
The DLA issued Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) can be used by all federal contracting agencies to buy products or services from Derco Aerospace, Inc. Using the Derco BOA saves Administrative Lead Time (ALT) and Contracting Administrative Lead Time (CALT) since all necessary terms and conditions have already been negotiated.
To use the Derco BOA, follow these simple steps.
A. Delivery Orders Issued by DLA Contracting Officers.
If DLA is buying a part number that is part of the DLA Legacy System, DLA should use BOA number SP0400-06-G-0005. If DLA is buying a BSM system part number, DLA should use BOA number SPM400-06-G-0005
B. Delivery Orders Issued by Non-DLA Contracting Officers.
Follow normal agency policy when writing a delivery order against another contracting agency-issued BOA. Use BOA number SP0400-06-G-0005.
C. Contact a Derco Account Manager.
Identify the part number and quantity and delivery requirements and the account manager will provide pricing and delivery information. Create a delivery order following your agency procedures, using the appropriate BOA number as the "Contract Number."
