Export Licensing Derco’s experienced licensing team is responsible for ensuring that all of Derco’s transactions comply with the requirements of the United States Departments of State, Commerce, Treasury, and other applicable agencies. The licensing team applies for State and Commerce import and export licenses, Technical Assistance Agreements, and Distribution Agreements as required. The licensing team is comprised of five members and is overseen by Derco’s in-house legal counsel.
The licensing staff regularly attends training sessions to ensure compliance with all necessary requirements and aware of all impending changes. The Derco licensing team has regular interaction with its parent companies, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and United Technologies Corporation. Through a combination of training and available expertise, Derco provides its customers with accurate and timely answers to their licensing needs, which in turn promote timely delivery and progress in all transactions.
